OceanWorks  is an exciting, new collaboration between Woodside FutureLab and The University of Western Australia.

OceanWorks is a unique lounge space focussed at bringing together industry and academia.

We foster an atmosphere that promotes sharing and sparks innovation in Ocean Engineering.

We strive to advance industry impact, while delivering science and research outcomes.

Situated within the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre, FutureLab OceanWorks is an open and relaxed space to hang out, work, collaborate, meet new people, network or participate in industry or academically led events.

As an open, collaborative space, FutureLab OceanWorks is open to anyone, anytime – you may like to:

A range of events take place in the space, led by both industry and researchers, aiming to share skills or knowledge, or to support and promote innovation and collaboration across Ocean Engineering. If you have an event idea or need further information please contact us.

Find us on UWA's Crawley campus

FutureLab OceanWorks is located on the first floor of the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre, on UWA’s main Crawley campus. The lounge is close to kitchen, coffee and meeting room facilities. The building also features an auditorium, larger event spaces and break-out meeting rooms.
